This unique and practical course is designed to teach your team how to handle and secure HSM sensitive cryptographic and management artifacts in a single non-technical lunch and learn or via an on-demand course.

This Security Awareness training for Key Custodians is specifically designed to satisfy the requirements of PCI PIN Control Objective 6.

The training provides the necessary basic introduction to a user issued with the key custodian role. The course provides and understanding of the required level of interaction with an HSM to satisfy PCI PIN along with explicit instruction on managing HSM associated artifacts and key components.

This short course can be delivered onsite to small groups over a 2 hour in person session or a single online on-demand 45 minute module.

What does the Security Awareness Training cover?

This online training course is perfect for covering the important requirements for key custodians interacting with HSMs, associated artifacts, key and clear text components including:
• Key-component management
• Maintaining records of access
• Maintaining the Name and signature of custodians accessing the component
• The utilisation of Tamper-evident packaging
• Understanding role definition—nominated individual with overall responsibility
• The importance of background checks for personnel
• Management of personnel changes, including revocation of access control and other privileges when personnel move

How do I prove my team has received training?

Post training you can apply for a certificate of attendance from ID-3. The certificate is available to anybody who signs up for the course and will be issued free of charge.
How can I add this training module to our organisations training program on platform such as Workday?

Workday allows uploads of video modules that can be placed into the training platform following which a training policy can be applied. This enables organisations to assign the training to a security officer group where a group policy may be applied which may allow the organisation to demonstrate annual training course completion along with all the other training such as Anti Bribery and Anti Harassment.
