HSM Virtualization
The Excrypt SSP Enterprise v.2 is perfect for organizations looking to set up multiple payment environments. Within a single device, multiple virtual instances of the Excrypt SSP Enterprise v.2 can be created and managed.

Because these HSMs act as completely independent virtual devices, duties can be segregated logically and separate payment infrastructures can be designed. Each virtual HSM has unique firmware versions, users, key storage space, and security policies. This has use cases for testing new features or pushing firmware upgrades in an isolated environment, for example.

The Excrypt SSP Enterprise v.2 virtual HSMs are also convenient. Users and applications can communicate with the virtual HSMs through a programmatic API, the web portal, an Excrypt Touch, or through the Guardian Series 3.

The Excrypt SSP Enterprise v.2’s ability to perform in general purpose or financial environments allows your organization to accomplish a variety of encryption and data processing tasks, including:
